Where we started
The project addressed the need to make the search for an appropriate shelter more structured and efficient for children in difficult life situations. Specialists needed a way to describe an individual need, search available organisations, compare options and understand capacity across different regions.
What we did
We developed a web platform covering the full shelter-search workflow. The system includes: a step-by-step form for creating a new request or need; search for suitable facilities using filters; search results and regional summaries; a portal displaying available places, applications and institutions; analytics for needs and available capacity; recommendations; detailed institution profiles with descriptions, contacts, availability and reasons for the match.
What we achieved
The platform brings the placement workflow into one digital environment. Specialists can create a request, find suitable facilities, compare available capacity and analyse options without moving between disconnected sources. The system also makes the reasons behind individual matches more visible through detailed institution profiles and recommendations.
