Redesign and migration of a cross-border cooperation portal with multilingual content and SEO improvements.
Where we started
The existing website needed a complete visual and technical update. The organisation required a new design, stronger SEO and better performance while preserving all existing content and working within strict budget limitations. The new website also needed multilingual content and continuous access to information stored in an external MySQL database.
What we did
We redesigned the website and implemented the new interface using WordPress and Bricks Builder to keep development efficient without sacrificing customisation. All existing content and media were migrated to the new platform. We configured multilingual functionality and developed a custom WordPress plugin that retrieves information from the external MySQL database in real time. Performance and SEO were optimised as part of the migration.
What we achieved
The modernised website was successfully launched within one month. Existing information was migrated without disruption, multilingual users gained a consistent browsing experience and the custom integration preserved real-time access to external data. The organisation also received a faster, easier-to-maintain website with improved technical SEO and room for future development.
