A portal for subsidy applications and a back office for the full approval cycle.
Where we started
Citizens faced a complicated process when applying for environmental and green-energy subsidies, while administrators relied on an outdated system that made applications difficult to process and manage. The existing software needed significant modernisation while preserving the essential workflows already used by public-sector teams.
What we did
We rebuilt the platform around two connected environments: a simple citizen-facing application portal and a back-office workspace for administrators. We implemented secure authentication, role-based workflows, automated notifications and email services, structured application processing and a scalable microservice-based backend. The interface was redesigned to reduce unnecessary steps for applicants and make internal case processing clearer for administrators.
What we achieved
Citizens received a simpler digital path to apply for environmental subsidies, while administrative teams could process requests faster and more consistently. Automation reduced repetitive communication, secure authentication improved data protection and the new architecture created a foundation for additional programmes and integrations.
